The Organic Kitchen Garden is developing well under the care of our Schumacher trained, biodynamic gardener, Chris Ryan.
The aim of the garden is to provide guests staying in the house with seasonal, sustainable, fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the year.
Students on retreats have the opportunity to join in fully; cultivating and harvesting our produce.
We are already producing over half the compost that we need by using waste from our kitchens and tea shop, we save seed, use no pesticides and encourage beneficial wildlife and companion plants.
In this way we endeavour to harness the biodynamic principles of holistic, ethical and ecological gardening and live in harmony with our natural world.
